असार १५ -धान दिवस र  दहि चिउरा खाने दिन  !


आज असार पन्ध्र ; हामी नेपालीहरुले मनाउदै गरेको दिन  । आजको दिन  नेपाल जस्तो कृषिप्रधान देशको लागि अत्यन्तै महत्वपूर्ण छ  खेतालाहरु घरको सिरान को गरा बाट रोपाई सुरु गर्दै छन् भने घर साहू बेठी ( एक प्रकारको दमाई बाजा ) बोलाउने तरखर गर्दै छन्    हलीले हिलोमा खुट्टा चोबल्दै " ल है साहिलो दाईको खेतमा अन्न धेरै उब्जियोस ; ह ह माले ह ह !" भन्दै बकैनोको भाटो ले कालेलाई हिर्काएको आवाजले हिलो खेल्न आएका भूरा नै तर्सिने , कान्छी दिदीले " मेलो सक्नु पर्छ है , साहूनी नि आउनु पर्यो अब " भन्दै जिस्काईदिने , अरु बेला हिलो बाट घिनाउने सहरबाट आएकी मामाकी छोरी नि हिलोसंग खेल्ने , जस्ता कुराहरुले यो दीन लाई असामान्य बनाउछ  त्यसैले मानो रोपेर मुरी फलाउने यो समयमा कृषकहरु आफ्ना अन्य काम  छाडेर भएपनि असारे भेल छोपी धानबाली लगाउन व्यस्थ हुन्छन्  

खेतालाहरुले काम सकेर थकाईमार्ने बेला मा साहू साहूनी दहि चिउरा लिएर जाने गर्दछन् र गीत गाउदै आली मा बसेर भोकलाई भगाएर एक साझको काम सकेर अर्को बेलाको लागि फेरी त्यै अगाडि कै जोस र उत्साहको साथ मेलो सक्ने तरखर गर्छन् ! धान रोप्न सुरु हुन्छ अनि पन्चे बाजा बजाउदै : 



छुपु धान नै रोपौँ हातैको बर्माले,
झ्यालमा बस्ने ज्यान थियो मेरो दिएन कर्मले…..।
पुर्वकी दिदी, पश्चिमकी बहिनी भेट हुन्छ भनेर,
पटुकी कसी, घुम ओढी आएँ रोपार बनेर…….।

अर्मपर्म मेलापात सँगसँगै धाउन आउ,
बर्खा लाग्यो यसपाली त चोखो मायाँ लाउन आउ…..।
मानो रोपी मुरी उब्जाउने बेलो हो यो मित्र,
हिलो छ्याप्दै प्रिय असारे गित गाउन आउ……।



Ashar 15 - Paddy day celebration and day of eating  Curd Rice flakes ( Chiura) 


Today is Ashar 15 , this day is celebrated by Nepalese people because for the agricultural country like Nepal , it is much beneficial. The owner of the farm hire farmers to plant paddy . They give their fullest to make this day a good and memorable day by enjoying singing dancing and all . The oxen - man is well wishing for the brother's farm to be well developed and says " there be tons of paddy to harvest in the near future" When he bangs the black ox with stick, the children tend to shiver and run away . Small sister is requesting owner aunt to come with them to complete the paddy planting fast. The maternal uncle daughter , who used to get dizzied seeing shit is aslo playing with wet mud which is very much fascinating. This is the time were they plant kilos of paddy and harvest tons and tons . Due to this , they leave all their basic works and plant paddy with full devotee.

The hired people after completing half of their work sit on the lobby and start eating curd rice flakes ( chiura ) brought by owner uncle and aunt. After eating , they again start planting paddy till dusk.They strat singing song like :



When the farmers are tired after work,
Farm owner carry dahi chiura and sing songs
. Planting of paddy begins and Punche Baja is played:
Let's plant hidden paddy in Burma by hand,
There was life in the window because of my deeds.
Sister of the East, Sister of the West 
 Hoping they will meet , they came with umbrella

.Come to Armaparam Melapat together,
It's raining, this time let's come for pure love .
.It's like a plant that grows seedlings,my friend
.Come and sing dear Asare song while covering the mud.
