A 'Ring of Fire' Solar eclipse to occur on Sunday - A complete guide on the Annular Solar Eclipse

A 'Ring of Fire' Solar eclipse to occur on Sunday!

"This type of annular solar eclipse occurs when the moon is at the farthest point in its orbit and moves between Earth and the sun. Because the moon is not big enough to totally block the sun, the sun's outer rim remains visible and we see a Ring of Fire. People in parts of China, Central African Republic, Congo, India, and Pakistan will be able to see the eclipse."

In the eclipse of Sunday, the Sun will turn into the "ring of fire". Some parts of the world will see the eclipse.

So, What is a annular solar eclipse?

The event, known as an annular solar eclipse, occurs when the moon is at the farthest point

from Earth in its orbit and passes between our planet and the sun.At that time, the moon

partially covers the sun, but due to the small size of the moon, the outer rim of the sun will

be visible that is when we will see the sun as a Ring of Fire.

From where will the eclipse be seen clearly?

People in parts of China, Central African Republic, Congo, Ethiopia, India, and Pakistan will

be able to watch the full annular solar eclipse. The first location to see the eclipse will be

The Central Africa where the eclipse will begin on Sunday, June 21 at 4:47 A.M. of Local time.

Annular Solar EclipseThe last areas to see the eclipse from will be China at 8:32 A.M. of local time. (That's at

For people at Europe and Australia, only a partial eclipse will be visible. It will be visible

on Southern and Eastern Europe.

Will it be seen from Nepal?

Yes, not completely though, partial eclipse will be seen from Kathmandu.  Partial Solar Eclipse, in Kathmandu.

More on the Eclipse.

The Moon will cover almost all parts of the sun. On Mathematical calculations, at most 99.4% of

the Sun's part would be covered. This kind of eclipse happens only once a year. During this

annular eclipse, the moon will take several minutes to pass away from the sun, but the full

eclipse will only last for about one second, according to NASA.
