Nepal Protest
Nepal's corona virus case has crossed five thousands in number and also is increasing in high rate. Although, the government hasn't done appropriate homework for this. Also, in this pandemic situation, national fund is being wrongly use. Due to this, the youths of Nepal, forming a certain group, are performing protests. It's soon that the protests will be nation-wide. The following article was published in the Facebook group (click here to visit that page) of the protesters. सरकारलको प्रार्थमिकतामा कोरोना संकट समाधान पर्नुको साटो अपारदर्शी र गैरजीम्मेवार गतिविधिविरुद्ध स्वस्फूर्त, ननगरिकस्तरको, गैरदलीय शान्तिपूर्ण प्रदर्शनको आज तेस्रो दिन पुगेको छ । नागरिकहरु महामारिले आहत भैरहेका, भोकसँग लडिरहेका बेला देशको मुल नेतृत्व पङ्ति भ्रम छर्न, झुटो सूचना बाँड्न र एकार्कामा घृणित दोषारोपण गरेर असली जीम्मेवारिबाट दिनानुदिन पन्छिरहेको स्थितिले निराशा थपेको छ ।
पछिल्लो ३६ घण्टामा धनगढी, पोखरा, बिराटनगर, सुर्खेत, चितवन लगायत विभिन्न स्थानमा र काठमाण्डौँ उपत्यकाका दर्जनौँ स्थानमा स्वस्फूर्त प्रदर्शनहरु भएका छन् । नागरिक आन्दोलनको संसारभरिको अभ्यासहरु जस्तै स्वनियमित र स्वस्फूर्त आन्दोलनको ढाँचामा प्रदर्शन हरु निरन्तर भैरहेका छन् । प्रदर्शनको शुरुवाति आयोजकका नाताले हामी अहिंशा, भौतिक दुरि र सुरक्षित आवागमन जस्ता मुल्यमान्यतामा प्रतिपद्ध छौँ । यस्तो अभूतपूर्व शान्तिपूर्ण प्रदर्शनमा सरकारका तर्फबाट भएको नियोजित दमन र प्रहरिले प्रतिकृयात्मक उत्तेजना फैलाउने हेतु पानिको फोहरा, लाठि र अश्रुग्यासको प्रयोग गरेकोमा हामि खेद व्यक्त गर्दछौँ । संघीय गणतन्त्र नेपालका हरेक नागरिकको शान्तिपूर्वक भेला हुने वाकस्वतन्त्रताको मौलिक हकको सम्मान गर्न पुन: आग्रह गर्दछौँ ।
महामारिको भयका बाबजुत पनि अति जोखिममा रहेका हाम्रा नागरिक दाजुभाई, दिदीबहिनीको पक्षबाट आवाज बुलन्द गर्नु हाम्रो हक र कर्तव्य सम्झेकाछौँ । हाम्रो प्रदर्शनका मुख्य मागहरु निम्न बमोजिम छन्:
१००% पिसिआर टेस्ट गराउनुपर्ने र टेस्टको दायरा बढाउनुपर्ने ।
क्वारेन्टाईन मृत्युशैया बनेका छन, भाईरस संक्रमणका केन्द्रबिन्दु बनेका छन त्यसैले तत्काल क्वारेन्टाईनको गुणस्तर सुधार गर्नुपर्ने ।
मेडिकल क्षमता विस्तार गर्नकासाथै, अग्रपंक्तिमा खटिएका स्वास्थ्यकर्मिको स्वास्थ्य सुरक्षा र स्वाभीमानको सुनिश्चितता गर्नुपर्ने ।
कोरोना नियन्त्रणमा खर्च गरिएको भनिएको १० अर्बको विषयगत र सुप्ष्ट पारदर्शिता सार्वजनिक गर्नुपर्ने ।
असक्षम र अकर्मण्य सरकार जाग र नागरिकको जीवन रक्षा गर ! जवाफदेहिता कायम गर !!
हामी सबै स्वतन्त्र, सचेत युवाहरुलाई स्वस्फूर्त आआफ्नो गाँउ शहरको चोकमा शान्तिपूर्वक, भौतिक दुरि पालना गरेर सरकारलाई जवाफदेही बनाउने अभियानमा सहभागि हुन आव्हाहन गर्दछौँ ।
Enough is Enough Statement of Solidarity

Today is the third day of a series of citizen-led, non-partisan protests against the Government Nepal's lack of urgency, transparency, and accountability concerning Covid-19 response. Our nation's central leadership continues to promote denial, misinformation, and shameless blame games, while citizens are left to brave hunger and a raging public health pandemic on their own.
In the last 36 hours, independent protests have taken place in Kathmandu, Pokhara, Biratnagar, Dhangadi, Chitwan, Surkhet, among other places across the country
These protests have been self-organized and spontaneous, as the most inspiring of citizens movements across the globe are. As protest organizers, we stand by our values of non-violence, physical-distancing and safety in these challenging times. We strongly condemn the use of water cannons, batons and other provocative and repressive measures taken by state authorities in response to our peaceful organizing. Freedom of peaceful assembly is a fundamental right of every citizen of this federal democratic republic.
Despite risks that the pandemic poses, we feel it is our right and our duty as citizens to voice protest and stand in solidarity with each other, and especially with our brothers and sisters who are at the highest risk right now but are not able to have their voices heard.
Our protests are committed to addressing the following urgent issues
• Stop RDTs. Correct testing strategy immediately 100% PCR and urgently expand testing No more virus incubation centers: Correct the quarantine strategy Expand medical capacity urgently. Ensure the safety and dignity of front-line health workers • Dignity for migrants and returnees: Relief and better policies for the working class • US $1.3 Billion+ in National Covid-19 Relief Fund: Where is all the money going? We demand transparency!
Down with Government Incompetence: Wake up and save lives! We demand accountability!
We call on all free-thinking friends across Nepal to stand in non-violent solidarity!
